Chyeeka Weston

Chairperson

Chyeeka Weston is not only the Executive Director of Development at Big Dreams & Bigger Hearts, but she is also one of its Co-Founders and sits as the Chairperson on the Board of Directors.  She is currently a Software Engineer, and after spending 15+ years in the field of IT in Corporate America, working for multiple companies, handling their back-end integrations for all of their interconnected systems, she now runs her own IT consulting and development company. 

Lateshia Brown

Vice-Chair

Lateshia Brown is not only the Executive Director of Programs at Big Dreams & Bigger Hearts, she is also one of its Co-Founders and sits as the Vice-Chair on the Board of Directors. She is an Engineer for the Defense Industry, responsible for multiple systems and sub-assemblies on aircraft in different phases of the acquisition life cycle. Specializing in product acceptance and compliance, contractor effectiveness, negotiations, contract administration, and program support.

Lorrecia Brown

Secretary

Lorrecia Brown is not only the Outreach & Events Coordinator at Big Dreams & Bigger Hearts, but she also sits as the Secretary on the Board of Directors. She is currently the Administrative Assistant for a Director of Operations and has over 30 years of experience in the food service industry and management.  Her experience includes but is not limited to, managing teams, overseeing business processes, and heading an entire district comprised of 9 buildings.  

Jennifer Thomas

Treasurer

Jennifer Thomas is not only the Finance & Grants Coordinator at Big Dreams & Bigger Hearts, but she also sits as the Treasurer on the Board of Directors. She is currently the Administrative Assistant and Payroll Clerk for the Jackson Transit Authority. where she handles many of their financial and administrative tasks. These tasks include, but are not limited to, processing payroll, filing taxes, completing billing for insurance, and setting up transit scheduling for the para-transit vans. 

Eva Thomas

Board Member

Eva Thomas is not only the Administrative Coordinator at Big Dreams & Bigger Hearts, but she also sits as a member on the Board of Directors. She is currently retired after dedicating 30 years of her life to the City of Jackson, TN, as Community Center and Registration Director and Computer Lab Administrator. Her duties included, but were not limited to, the registration of city programs and the operation of the computer lab.
